About Malik Dawah
Founded in 2025 in a favela district of Embu das Artes, Brazil, Malik Dawah was established as a cultural, educational, and religious initiative dedicated to building a lasting legacy for Islam in Brazil and beyond. We are a collective of Brazilian Muslims who believe that knowledge is a powerful means of transformation.
Our work spans a wide range of intellectual and cultural endeavors. We develop publishing projects, documentaries, courses, events, research initiatives, audiovisual productions, and other creative efforts aimed at bringing people closer to the Islamic tradition, its history, its rich intellectual heritage, and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Malik Dawah emerged in response to a genuine need: the scarcity of reliable and rigorous content that presents Islam with depth, responsibility, and intellectual integrity, particularly within the context of the Western developing world. In an environment often shaped by oversimplification, stereotypes, and misinformation, we seek to contribute to the preservation and dissemination of authentic, accessible, and academically grounded knowledge.
We believe that true understanding is built upon serious study. Through our initiatives, we strive to strengthen the intellectual and cultural presence of Islam, foster meaningful connections between diverse communities, and contribute to combating Islamophobia, ignorance, and the prejudices that continue to surround the religion of Allah.
We recognize that our contribution is modest in comparison to the magnitude of this mission. Nevertheless, we hope to play a part, however small, in nurturing a generation that is more conscious of its faith, more deeply connected to knowledge, and better prepared to serve humanity.
All of our work remains firmly grounded in the Qur'an, the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and the understanding of the righteous predecessors, preserving the principles that have sustained and guided the Islamic tradition throughout the centuries.
